I’m extremely lucky in this job to make lifelong friends. I met this family 7 years ago, I had just decided I wanted to start taking photos of people and used to pop to their houses and pop the baby in front of the window on a white sheet, and shoot away. Elis was a tiny little baby and just look at him now. Stacey has shown a level of loyalty I don’t deserve, she’s helped my business grow and has been fully supportive of me through all kinds of photoshoots – newborns, family, christmas. Soon we can add a wedding to the list.
I adore this family, I genuinely feel blessed that I’ve watched them grow as a family unit. I’m very lucky to call them friends and I cannot wait for the next few weeks when they tie the knot at the beautiful Rosedew Farm – and I get a front row seat.
We spent a quick hour catching up, talking wedding plans and taking a few photos in the boiling heat at Cosmeston lakes. Ice creams all round afterwards.
