The Couple
It’s safe to say that Kimberley and Andre are meant to be. He’s a rugby player, she’s his princess. He sports black eyes and she wears killer heels. He’s the Yin to her Yang yet they absolutely worship each other as partners, friends and co-parents. Family and happiness comes first, always. This wedding was filled with friends and family who threw their best moves on the dance floor and celebrated the wonderful marriage of these gorgeous humans.
Canada Lodge and Lake – The Venue
Booking your wedding is super personal. You need a to find a venue that fits in perfectly with not just who you are as a couple but who your friends are and the theme you’ve chosen. Kimberley and Andre are parents to two absolutely gorgeous little humans and knew that Canada Lodge would be perfect for them. All in one location, breathtaking views and grounds, and plenty of space for the dancing. They chose a clean theme of white, accents of gold, and plenty of sparkle.
The Day
I love late summer, early autumn weddings. You just don’t know what you’re going to get with weather or with the light so you plan for every eventuality. Thankfully mother nature was on our side so pre-drinks were sipped in the heat, and portraits were taken in gorgeous light. As we retreated inside for dinner the heavens opened but we still managed to sneak out for a few last minute family photos before the children got too tired. These two thought they’d be nervous in front of the camera but they shone, they were breathtaking. They complemented our natural style perfectly making one cracking dream team. I had to sacrifice my own socks when the ground got too soggy for the diamante heels to cross the grass without damage but it’s a small price to pay for perfection.
