Weddings are a magical time and the run up to them can be exciting, thrilling and chock full or worry about the finer details. When I meet my couples a few weeks before they are usually a bag of nerves who openly admit to hating photos. Lucky for them, I can talk the ear off anyone!
Zoe and Howard were utterly amazing together. You can tell they have been best friends and partners for years and the wedding is a huge celebration of their relationship. We took some time in a very special place for them, the place that Howard proposed, to have a walk and chat about how we work when we photograph a wedding. My main instructions are always to pay the camera no attention, to go off to the distance and just be themselves. THEY ROCKED IT.
What we’ve been left with is some super cuddly photos of a fantastic couple who know how to laugh. Llantrisant common at dusk gave a magical feel to the photos. We were losing light fast but it’s such a magical golden light, I just can’t resist it. In a few weeks these two tie the knot at Canada Lake and Lodge and we cannot wait to spend the day with them, friends and family. It’s going to be amazing.
